School Improvement Plan
SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PLAN
The Wyoming Department of Education (WDE) has issued guidance on school improvement plans that are required for state and federal accountability. At the state level, the Wyoming Accountability in Education Act (WAEA) requires every school identified as Partially Meeting or Not Meeting Expectations to submit an improvement plan. At the federal level, the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) requires every school identified for Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI) must submit one improvement plan that addresses the specific reasons the school is identified. Any School identified for Targeted Support and Improvement (TSI) under ESSA must develop a plan in consultation with its local school district to address the needs of identified subgroups. Plans must meet the requirements on the attached document. School improvement plans may be designed using one of the templates provided below or another format that meets the plan requirements.
