ADMINISTRATION OF STOCK EPINEPHRINE AUTO-INJECTORS

The school district may acquire, maintain and dispense to schools within the district, a supply of epinephrine auto-injectors.  The school nurse and/or other staff members as may be designated by school administration may administer a stock epinephrine auto-injector to a student whom the school nurse or assigned personnel in good faith believes is experiencing a severe allergic reaction. 

The district shall implement a plan based on the Wyoming Department of Education School Guidelines for the Management of Students with Life-Threatening Allergies.  The school district’s plan shall be made available on the school district’s web site or the web site of each school within the district.
