March 23 Mill Parity Presentation-Now Available to Print or View

March 23rd Sublette County School District #9 hosted a public information meeting concerning the optional Mill Parity between District #1 and District #9. The Board, Superintendent and Business Manager discussed in detail, the history of the parity issue from the 1970's to current and outlined the facts of the disparity. The attached presentation from that evening details the current District #1 and #9 BOCES budgets. Funding Disparity: Public Meetings March 22-Pinedale/March 23 Marbleton

The power to resolve the Sublette County Districts funding disparity lies with District 1’s Board of Trustees. Please encourage them to show mutual respect & responsibility in this endeavor. If you want to advocate for opportunities for our youth & communities, please attend the following meetings for information and for your voice to be heard:

March 22, 2011 at 7:00p.m. in the Pinedale HS Auditorium
March 23, 2011 at 7:00p.m. in the Marbleton Senior Center.

Sublette County School Districts Funding Disparity

Currently, a funding disparity exists between Sublette County School District #1 and Sublette County School District #9. Mr. Gerry Chase, Sublette #9 Superintendent provided the following documentation concerning the issue to the Sublette Examiner (Attached Below in PDF format).
